Where did October go? I can’t believe it’s already November! I’m loving the latest warm spell and taking every opportunity to get out and about. My husband, Eric blew past his original goal of riding 2020 miles this year on his road bike and has ridden over 4100 miles as of last weekend. I am enjoying many walks with our dogs, Kiko and Sasha, and look forward to some autumn baking and chili-making as well as the upcoming Thanksgiving festivities! However, COVID is still affecting our daily lives and we are continuing to socially distance, which means we might not be able to get together with loved ones this holiday season. We are still going to make the best of this time though and enjoy facetime dates with family and getting together any way we can. Here is my November Community Insider for the Boulder area! Ready or not, here comes winter and all the snow!
Boulder Farmer’s Market
Don’t miss out on the last few weeks of the Boulder Farmer’s Market! It runs 8:00-2:00 every Saturday in November ending on the 21st. Giving you plenty of time to stock up on your favorites before it resumes next May. Walkups are welcome, but you can also reserve a time slot online in advance! They are still practicing social distancing between the booths that are set up. Also, asking all guests to please wear a mask. Stock up on your jams and fresh fruit and veggies before your time is up! What a great way to thank local farmers! To sign up for your time slot click here!
Boulder Comedy Show
A great way to wind down your weekend is with a virtual comedy show. It streams LIVE every Sunday at 7 pm at HoldThePhone.tv! No sign-ups are required in advance, just sit back and enjoy a good laugh from the convenience of your own home! More information on this event is located here!
Have you been to the Drive-In? Check this out! The Dairy Arts Center is hosting a drive-in movie on November 13th and 14th from 6:30-9:30 (the movie will begin once it is dark enough) They ask that you arrive between 6:30-7:00 pm so you can find your parking space and get comfy for the show. Tickets cost $30 per car which includes 2 people per car and any additional people cost $10 each. They will be playing Teton Gravity Research: Make Believe, a new ski and snowboard film! For more information on the films that will be playing click here!
